Shangri-La's Fijian Resort and Spa – Causeway Replacement and WWTP – 2011

RMS has been appointed to act as Project Director for these two significant infrastructural projects.

The causeway replacement with a double lane bridge requires coordination of all regulatory approvals including Environmental Impact Assessment and Construction Environmental Management Plan.  Works programming is critical to maintain uninterrupted island access to the resort.

The new waste water treatment plant will see effluent quality achieve the highest Australian standard classification and set a new standard in Fiji.  This initiative requires the careful evaluation of technological proposals to meet the long term operational goals of the resort.
