Savusavu Foreshore Development Strategic Planning - 2005

The township of Savusavu on Fiji’s second largest island Vanua Levu is known as the “hidden paradise” and a true yachting haven.  With an extensive marina and bustling town life with some of Fiji’s finest cafe dining Savusavu is ideally positioned to ride the tourism boom.

The Savusavu Town Council holds development rights over approximately 2 km of foreshore area which has potential for tourism and commercial development that will ensure Savusavu is a “must see” for all Fiji bound tourists.

The Council sought the help of Rawlinsons to develop a strategy for them that would maximise their commercial returns whilst at the same time balancing the development components and ultimately net benefit for the township.
